This ACTIVE tour adds a 1.8 mile hike to the Scenic Float Tour. You will retrace the steps of the Gold Rush stampeders on the famous Chilkoot Trail, hiking through a green moss-covered northern temperate rainforest. At the end of the one-way hike we meet with the raft for a relaxing river float on the tranquil Taiya River. The hike is moderately difficult over uneven, hilly terrain for the first mile, then on mostly flat ground for the remainder. Please wear sturdy walking shoes and be in good physical condition. Ask us about special arrangements for groups where some may not be able to do the hike. We can do an alternate walk and have everyone meet for the river float. This tour last approximately 4 hours.
